Tweedaags congres in Leuven op 5-6 december 2013: Shaping authority

Op 5 en 6 december vindt in Leuven een internationaal congres plaats, getiteld Shaping authority. How did a person become an authority in Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance?. Centraal op dit congres staat de vraag wat iemand tot een culturele of religieuze autoriteit maakte, waarbij vooral gekeken wordt naar the rise and demise of auctoritates. Het congres wordt georganiseerd door LECTIO (Leuven Centre for the Study of the Transmission of Texts and Ideas in Antiquity, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance). Geïnteresseerden die een lezing willen verzorgen kunnen zich nog tot 20 april aanmelden met een kort abstract en cv.
